What is Polygonum Cuspidatum Extract Resveratrol?
Polygonum Cuspidatum Extract Resveratrol has two structures, cis and trans. It mainly exists in trans conformation in nature. The two structures can be combined with glucose to form cis and trans-resveratrol glycosides. The cis- and trans-resveratrol bulk powder can release resveratrol under the action of glycosidases in the gut. Under UV light irradiation, trans-resveratrol can be converted to the cis-isomer.
